Empowering Young Minds in STEM

FunTech Kids is proud to partner with schools and families to bring dynamic, hands-on STEM education to young learners through our STEM Explorers program. Designed for children ages 4 to 9, our program introduces the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and math through fun, project-based learning that sparks curiosity and builds real-world skills.

Each week, students explore a wide range of topics—from LEGO® robotics and basic coding with Scratch, to circuits, simple machines, environmental science, and introductory engineering challenges. Kids experiment, build, and problem-solve while developing critical thinking, collaboration, and a love for discovery.

Whether they’re designing a bridge, coding a simple game, or exploring how electricity flows, every project is age-appropriate, engaging, and designed to grow with the child. At FunTech Kids, we’re planting the seeds of innovation and inspiring tomorrow’s thinkers—one hands-on challenge at a time.

Geoffrey Fouad

Geoff Fouad teaches STEM from K-12 to graduate school students, specializing in project-based learning in which students not only gain technical skills but also confidence in solving open-ended problems. Geoff's experience includes curriculum design in which students progressively gain skills and critical thinking skills. Geoff believes in presenting students problems and helping them to design their own creative solutions. This approach is practically applied in design building projects (e.g., Lego robotics), computer programming (e.g., Scratch programming), and scientific research in Geoff's specialty of the geographic and Earth sciences. Geoff holds a PhD in hydrology from San Diego State University and teaches at Hunter College in New York City.
